Bloggers and Instagrammers You Should Know!

Bloggers and Instagrammers You Should Know!

As we close off the month of May we want to share our last installment of Bloggers and Instagrammers You Should Know! We had 4 amazing and inspiring women so far and we would not end it any other way. Morir Soñando is a community blog where we hold hands with our fellow creative women and help lift them up to higher platforms to show them the recognition their work deserves. We hope this is not the last time we have features but we are proud of everyone we have highlighted this month.

Here are our last 4 features Bralmarys Batista, Patricia Berroa, Cristal Arlandy, and Cassidy Maysonet. We asked each lady the same 6 questions to give you some insight to their different style and platforms.

We start off with Bralmarys Batista. Bralmarys has a bachelor degree in Hotel Management. She is a content creator, fashionista, and a CEO of an online shop. She puts together beautiful outfits filled with prints that remind you of summer at all times. Her imagery is full of vibrant colors and amazing scenery that make her IG @summerbral a must follow. She partners with many companies to promote her brand and give her followers insight on how to be a business women. Here are her answers!

1. What led you to start blogging or using IG as a platform to promote yourself and your creative ventures?

I love fashion and just like every girl, I used to look for the outfit of the day of many bloggers. Most of my friends believed that a lot of money was required in order for you to look nice. I didn't agree with that, so I decided to break the stereotype. I used IG as a tool to inspire women around the world to be the best version of themselves and do the best they can, with what they have.

2. How do you describe your style? What influences your style?

My favorite style is casual because it is usually very practical and relaxed. However, the fun part begins when I add my personality to the different styles, according to the occasion.

3. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now? Share some of your goals for your ventures.

Wow! There are so may things that I am working on. I am looking forward to growing my personal brand internationally, traveling around the world and perhaps writing a book. Of course, there are multiple projects that I will be able to share soon.

4. If you can give one universal advice to any and all women what will it be?

Have confidence in yourself! And don't let anyone stop you from chasing your dreams. Life is just like fashion, is not about what you have but who you are.

5. Pick one. Perfect outfit. Perfect Day. or Perfect Trip.  Describe it.

Perfect Outfit: Ripped jeans, off the shoulder blouse and oxford shoes or converse.

6. Summer is approaching. What are your summer 2017 must haves?

I love tunic dresses, they are so comfy and perfect for a lazy casual day out. As well as off the shoulder blouses and of course shorts.

Next up we have Patricia Berroa. Patricia is a stylist, designer, and self described DIY FREAK! She is also the fashion writer at Blush Magazine. Her experience studying fashion in Barcelona that led her to discover her passion and creative flare. She has a must read blog called Pamabel Project (http://www.pamabelaproject.com) where she showcases all her DIY projects and an IG full of beautiful inspiring images. (@pamabelaproject). Here are Patricia's answers.

1. What led you to start blogging or using IG as a platform to promote yourself and your creative ventures?

I always liked to do some changes to my clothes or wear in different ways. When people started to ask me about my style or how I made it, was a trigger to start to show my skills. I thought that creating a blog was the best way to file this and at the same time a way for others to learn a little bit from me.

    2. How do you describe your style? What influences your style?

I'm very eclectic. I love to mix men's clothing with feminine, delicate with sporty ones. Being unpredictable or at least wear some special detail that makes me distinctive, is what characterizes my personal style.

    3. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now? Share some of your goals for your ventures.

I see myself doing DIY workshops or teaching how to wear a simple piece with no effort. I love the idea of showing people how to improve their wardrobe and I really like to see when people discover all the things can do.  I think at the same time with those workshops I will try to bring some support and confidence to women that need it. I would also love to collaborate with some internationally renowned magazine, that would be a great achievement for me. Also incredible in 5 years? Visit some of the destinations from my bucket list.

    4. If you can give one universal advice to any and all women what will it be?

Self-confidence is the key to everything. Being fearless opens the door to multiple possibilities.

    5. Pick one. Perfect outfit. Perfect Day. or Perfect Trip.  Describe it.

The ideal outfit is the one that fits you perfectly, highlights your best attributes and makes you smile every time you see your reflection in front of the mirror.

    6. Summer is approaching. What are your summer 2017 must haves?

Vintage Tees, 80’s inspiration, gingham print pieces, and a lot of sheer.

Now off to a blond bombshell that will knock your fashionable socks off with all the latest trends! Cristal Arlandy is a blogger that serves you the confidence every girl needs. Her self named blog http://www.cristalarlandy.com/ has great posts on seasonal must haves, beauty regimen tips, and the coolest lifestyle section where she opens up on her life writing about anything from her eating habits and relationships. Cristal has the go to blog for any outfit inspirations but you will end up learning more as she is a very well rounded writer. Check out her blog and follow her on ig @cristal.arlandy. Here are her answers!

    1. What led you to start blogging or using IG as a platform to promote yourself and your creative ventures?

My senior year of High School I started a Youtube channel with a friend and it was mainly makeup based. I always found that I liked taking pictures in my outfits and sharing them so I started a blog in correlation to the channel. The blog itself was very amateur and unorganized. I truly rarely posted but it was a stepping stone for me. The next year while I was in college I realized that Youtube videos took up an immense amount of time that I just didn't have, therefore I started CristalArlandy.com! I've had no regrets since. There are times a post only takes about 30 minutes of my day and I manage so many different things that it works for me.

Truthfully, I don't consider myself a full time blogger. I've always seen it as a fun hobby that could potentially lead to a career. Instagram has always been my favorite social media. In HS I used to tell my best friend, "wouldn't it be so cool if we could be paid a dollar for each like we get?" I wish I would've realized at that moment that I was thinking one step ahead. You live and learn!

    2. How do you describe your style? What influences your style?

This is one of the harder questions for me to answer because I feel like I don't have one specific style. I'm definitely more on the minimalist side, but a minimalist who enjoys taking risks and trying different trends. Let's go with: Minimalist with an Edge. I'm inspired by other bloggers, celebrities and designers. I'm pretty sure I've done about three Kourtney Kardashian inspired looks! She's a favorite of mine. Also... menswear. I think that men have it right in the clean, detailed and classic approach and I admire that.

    3. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now? Share some of your goals for your ventures.

It's funny because about a year ago I would've told you I'd hopefully be graduating from medical school and on my way to becoming a dermatologist. Somewhere along the road I realized my passions, and happiness should come before anything else. In 5 years, I hope to be in the corporate side of fashion as a buyer, planner or an analyst at a firm.  Of course I still see myself blogging, but more full time than part time. I'd like a couple of my own businesses. I've been trying to convince my mom to write a book with me for a while now and maybe in 5 years she'll come around to that.

    4. If you can give one universal advice to any and all women what will it be?

I have so many. I could do an entire interview on just women. I take a lot of pride in being a women's woman. I think we're so beautiful, strong , and unstoppable... TOGETHER. That would be my advice. Stop allowing society to pin you against each other because we are so much stronger together as a force. Love each other, embrace each other, and stop saying you prefer " hanging out with the boys" over hanging out with the girls because men won't be there when one of them breaks your heart, the time of month comes and you forgot your lady kit, or to do the little things all of us girls like to do whether we admit it or not. Secondly, take care of yourself before anyone else. I know that is a hard one for us. I struggle with it too. We are pretty much taught from a young age to put others before ourselves. I wish women allowed themselves to be selfish sometimes because it is O K. Men do it all the time. Lastly, give gratitude for all the blessings you have. Do this every single day. The universe listens and when you give love it always comes back to you.

    5. Pick one. Perfect outfit. Perfect Day. or Perfect Trip.  Describe it.

I'd love to go on a trip with all the people I love.

    6. Summer is approaching. What are your summer 2017 must haves?

Summer 2017 must haves: high leg bikinis, Off the Shoulder anything, large sunglasses, embroidered pieces , bright colors: red, yellow, bubblegum pink, floral sheer .

To wrap up this awesome month of great ladies on our blog we have Cassidy Maysonet. Cassidy has your go to you tube channel for all things fashion, beauty, and even lifestyle topics. One of the most awesome things about Cassidy is that she is inviting and down to earth in all her videos. We love that she describes her platform as a place "Here to remove all insecurities and share what I love with you." This makes her a must watch on our list. Here are her answers and make sure you check out her youtube channel Cassidy's Secrets and follow her on IG @cassidysecrets.

    1. What led you to start blogging or using IG as a platform to promote yourself and your creative ventures?
    - I've always had a natural liking towards beauty and fashion and when the whole social media world started blowing up, I saw this as an opportunity to not only share what I love but to make genuine connections with people. What I love about promoting myself is that I can be as honest and as creative as I want when it comes to reviews, products, or clothing. It's all up to me and it completely reflects who I am!

    2. How do you describe your style? What influences your style?
    - It's so hard to define my style into one category. What I wear really depends on my mood! Sometimes I feel super bohemian and I think that comes from my mother (she's obsessed with the boho hippie trends) and it rubs off on me! Other times I'm feeling super spunky and want to stand out. But above all comfort is number one, you'll never catch me in something restricting or just flat out uncomfortable!

    3. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now? Share some of your goals for your ventures.
    - In 5 years I want to have built a platform where I share what I love in the most genuine way possible. In the beauty and fashion world, things can get superficial and in genuine real quick! So all I want in 5 years is to have a relationship with my viewers where they trust what I say. I'm hoping to build on that and see where it takes me.

    4. If you can give one universal advice to any and all women what will it be?
    - Be fearless. Once you learn that your fears only hold you back, you'll then be able to break through them. Without fear you are unstoppable. So I say be fearless. No fear of heights, no fear of public speaking, no fear of moving on, no fear of putting yourself first. Fear is an illusion. BE FEARLESS!

    5. Pick one. Perfect outfit. Perfect Day. or Perfect Trip.  Describe it.
    - Perfect trip, for sure! I'm truly believe that traveling allows you to become a more well rounded and informed person so taking the perfect trip sounds the best of them all. My dream trip is to visit Thailand and explore the caves and possibly have dinner in one of them... ugh, goals!

    6. Summer is approaching. What are your summer 2017 must haves?
    - For beauty, my summer must have is definitely an awesome BB cream. One with SPF to protect my skin from the sun, but it also has to have a dewy glow to it for that natural glowing summer skin. For fashion, you will definitely catch me wearing a ton of off the shoulder tops. They're so comfortable and they make me feel sexy in a modest way!
